Road:
Distriport Tiel is situated in the very heart of the Netherlands. You will find the distribution complex adjoining the A15 motorway (Rotterdam – Bemmel). The surrounding road network offers excellent connections to the port of Rotterdam, Schiphol Airport, Belgium and Germany.

 
Public transportation:
Tiel central railway station is situated 5.7 kilometres from the complex and has train and bus services to various cities. However, there are no direct services between the railway station and Medel business park. The nearest bus stop, ‘de Beldert’, is a 20-minute walk from the business park. To solve this problem a shuttle bus was hired by the park organization. This project is currently being evaluated to determine whether the project will be continued.

Water:
Directly adjoining Distriport Tiel you will find the recently completed Barge Terminal Tiel on the Amsterdam-Rhine canal. The container terminal is operated by CTU, which is part of the Theo Pouw Group. The Theo Pouw Group is a multifaceted supplier for ground, road, water and concrete construction(works). The relationship with this group underlines the potential CTU has as a full-service open container terminal, with its own multimodal vision of the future of the barge terminal.

The terminal in Tiel features a loading and unloading quay with a length of 200 metres, a dock crane and a reefer stack to provide temperature-controlled containers with electricity.
